    Auswanderungskarten indicating consent of the Prussian government for Johann Michel Fausack and named family to emigrate to Poland in 1818. This card is a 20th century transcription of original records which have not yet been accessed by us.

    One known daughter of Johann and Charlotte, Marie Dorothea Sophie Gottliebe, apparently did not emigrate to Poland; she would have been 21 years of age at the time they emigrated.

    The Latin-language record is from the churchbook of the Roman Catholic church in Zakroczym (or Nowy Dwor) even though both parties are shown as Evangelische. (At that time, the authority for registering vital statistics was the Catholic church.) In addition to the bride and groom and their parents, four other people (presumably witnesses) are mentioned: Peter Steinke?, Raymond Steinke?, Johann Zelux, and Wilhrlm Wolf.

    The surname may be Ziegner, Sievert, or Siebert. Later records indicate that Dorothea Fausack was married to Friedrich Sikinger. This supposition requires further research and confirmation. Witnesses were Daniel Fausak at age 30 and Johann Redmann at age 36, who were also the godparents.

    This records is unusual for the time and place by having signatures from participants. Note also the surname spelled Fauzak.
