    Notes
    • Marriage registration of Johann Fausak and Anna Redman in 1825 found in Cieksyn, Poland civil records. That record is unclear, but appears to show Johann's parents as Johann Michal Fausak (spelled Fouzak) and Luiza Graffs - the records needs further attention and translation. Johann's age is shown as 19 (therefore born in 1806), and Anna as 17 (therefore born in 1808).

On the death registration of Louisa Fausak nee Graff in 1829, shown in the Cieksyn civil records (no. 23, p. 4a, LDS 0,689,560), there is shown a 23 year old Johann Fausak, son of the deceased, that appears to verify the parentage in the paragraph above. Louisa is shown as a widow at the time of her death.

The alternate death date of 22 Oct 1864 for Johann was given by K-H. Fausak in 1987; it is now known to be in error. the date may, however, have other significance.
