    Notes
    • Leopold is remembered by Ludwig Müller to have been a very good musician - played trumpet. He played with church and town bands; was said to have heard some music from passing cruise vessels on the Wechsel River and to have transcribed them. Thus, the town band got new music. Sister Adele (who later married Edmund Lentz) was remembered to have sung along with Leopold.

Leopold's grave in Tarchomin has no gravestone; his wife remarried and did not pay for a stone. The grave (and others) in Tarchomin was visited and photographed by Lee Fausak, Hartmut Fausak, and Ludwig Muller in August 2001.
