      EWZ record of Oswald Fausak shows Karl as having died before June 1940.

      Neu-Swidry is now Nowe Swidry, and is located south of Jablonna and about 12km north of central Warsaw, on the east side of the Vistula River. It is now on the northern suburbs of Warsaw.

      Karl's grave (and others) in Tarchomin was visited and photographed by LF, HF, and LM in August 2001.

The woman seated on the left is believed to be Caroline nee Fausak Graf. The young woman standing on the left is Adele Fausak. Three of the four men standing are believed to be Karl's sons Ludwig, Leopold Heinz, and Karl; the fourth is not known.

    "This happened in the city of Nowy Dwor on the 15th/27th of April 1886 at 12:00 in the afternoon. Karl Fausak, 40 years old, a farmer from from New Swidry appeared and in the presence of witnesses Karl Graf, 34 years old, and Ludwig Look, 40 yeas old, both farmers from New Swidry, presented to us a child of the male sex, stating that it was born in New Swidry on the 24th of March/5th of April of this year at 10:00 in the morning from his lawful wife Louise, born Kolm, 39 years old. To this child at holy baptism performed on this day was given the name Karl. The godparents were Karl Graf and Rosalie Look. This document was read to the illiterate witnesses and signed by us alone.     "This happened in Nasielsk on the 25th of September/3rd of October 1911 at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. We declare that in the presence of witnesses Ferdinand Jeschke, 50 years old, and Wilhelm Pletz, 50 years old, both farmers at Chlebiotki, on this day a religious marital union was contracted between Karl Fausak, born and residing with his parents in New Swidry, single, 25 years old, son of Karl Fausak and and his deceased wide Louise, born Kolm, and Albertine Golnik, single, 22 years old, boprn and residing with her parents in the settlement of Grabie, the daughter of Jacob Golnik and his wife Anna born Jeschke. This marriage was preceded by three readings of the banns proclaimed in the Evangelische-Augsburg prayer house in the village of Konary, and also in the Nowydworsk Evangelische-Augsburg church (as the groom's church). The newlyweds stated that no prenuptial agreement had been made between them. This document was read aloud to all present, who stated that they did not know how to write, and signed by us only. Pastor A. Dramowski(?)."

Karl Fausak, 26 years old, farmer from New Swidry, appeared and in the presence of witnesses Samuel Isbrecht, baker from Peltsowodo(?) and Karl Muller, farmer from New Swidry, both 36 years old, presented to us a child of the female sex, stating that she was born in New Swidry on the 8/21 of November of this year at 8:00 in the morning from his lawful wife Albertine born Golnik, 23 years old. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Melita. The godparents were the first witness and Helene Muller. This document, late because of the father's family circumstances, was read to the illiterate witnesses and signed by us only. Pastor Oscar Ernst."

The child was christened with the name Olga, and has as godparents the first witness and Caroline Graf. This document about the birth of the child was read to the declarents and witnesses and was signed by us alone. Pastor Oscar Ernst"
