Following exceprt from History of Fausak Tire (http://www.fausaktire.com/history.htm)

Fausak Tire's founder, Harold ("Hal") W. Fausak, began his automotive career in New Orleans. Hal had moved his wife and two young sons from New Jersey to attend Tulane University. However, in order to fulfill his family obligations, he had to cut his collegiate career short. Hal took a job with Western Auto, and moved up to assistant manager rather quickly. In 1954, Hal was offered a promotion to become a store manager, but he would have to move his family again, this time to Mobile, AL. The company had a problem store there, and they needed a good manager to take the reins. He really did not want to go to Mobile, but with a raise and a promise to bring him back to New Orleans after the job was complete, Hal and his family made the move.
