"This happened in Nowy Dwor on the 18th of November/1st of December 1919 at 4:00 in the afternoon. Karl Fausak, 26 years old, farmer from New Swidry, appeared and in the presence of witnesses Samuel Isbrecht, baker from Peltsowodo(?) and Karl Muller, farmer from New Swidry, both 36 years old, presented to us a child of the female sex, stating that she was born in New Swidry on the 8/21 of November of this year at 8:00 in the morning from his lawful wife Albertine born Golnik, 23 years old. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Melita. The godparents were the first witness and Helene Muller. This document, late because of the father's family circumstances, was read to the illiterate witnesses and signed by us only. Pastor Oscar Ernst."
