    Notes
    • Believed to have immigrated to America early 1900s.

Albert Emil Fausak (1912- ) believed in 1997 that there were no children from this marriage, but that appears to be incorrect (unless there are two Louisa Kretschmanns).

The 1930 US census lists Robert and Louisa Kretschmann living at 81 West 51st Street, Bayonne City NJ. Louisa was age 52, was married at age 20 (therefore in 1898, and therefore in Poland), and entered the US in 1910?. She appeared to have been naturalized by 1930. The census also lists a grandchild, Frederick Stueber, age 6 (therefore born circa 1924); the child was born in New Jersey, his father in New York, and his mother (presumably Lydia Kretschmann) in Germany.

"This happened in Nasielsk on the 25th of January/6th of February 1878 at 1:00 in the afternoon. Ludwig Fausak, 30 years old, farmer from Bledowo appeared and in the presence of witnesses Johann Ulrich, 44 year old farmer and Johann Hein, 28 year old day laborer, and presented to us a child of the female sex stating that she was born in Mogowo yesterday at 9:00 in the morning from his lawful wife Rosalie born Schinke, 21 years old. To this child at holy baptism performed on this day was given the name Louise. The godparents were Karl Fausak and Rosalie Linersch(?). This document was read aloud to all illiterate witnesses and signed by us alone. Pastor Wernitz."

"This happened in Przasnysz on the 3rd/15th of November 1898 at 12:00 o'clock in the afternoon. We declare that, in the presence of witnesses Martin Pletz, a farmer from Debinki, 34 years old and Efraim Hein, a farmer from Janowko, 45 years old, a religious marital union was contracted between Robert Kretschmann, single, born in Ustanow and residing in the village Debinki, Nasielsk, the son of the married couple Johann Kretschmann and Adelgunde, born Greilich, Evangelical-Augsburg religion - and - Louise Fausak, single, 20 years old, born in Mogowo and residing with her parents in Janowko, the daughter of Ludwig Fausak and his deceased wife Rosalie, born Schinke, of the Evangelical-Augsburg religion. This marriage was preceded by three readings of the banns proclaimed in the local and the Nasielsk parishes on the 18th/30th of September and on the next two following Sundays. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement. This document was read aloud and was signed only by us because those present stated that they did not know hoe to write. E. Schultz."
