    "This happened in the city of Nowy Dwor on the 22nd of October/3rd of November 1885 at 12:00 o'clock in the morning. We declare that, in the presence of witnesses Ludwig Look, 40 years old, and Samuel Schultz, 27 years old, both farmers from Kepa Tarchominska, a religious marital union was contracted between Karl Graf, 34 years old, single, the son of the farmer Daniel Graf and his wife Christine born Neumann - and - Caroline Fausak, 19 years old, single, born in Bledowo and residing in Neu Schwidry, the daughter the farmer from Neu Schwidry Karl Fausak and his wife Louise born Kolm. This marriage was preceded by three readings of the banns proclaimed in the local Evangelical church on the 6th/18th of October and on the next two Sundays. Permission was given orally by the newlyweds parents in person. The newlyweds stated that no prenuptial agreement had been made between them. This document was read to all illiterate witnesses and to the newlyweds and signed by us only. L. Behrens."

Karl Fausak, 40 years old, a farmer from from New Swidry appeared and in the presence of witnesses Karl Graf, 34 years old, and Ludwig Look, 40 yeas old, both farmers from New Swidry, presented to us a child of the male sex, stating that it was born in New Swidry on the 24th of March/5th of April of this year at 10:00 in the morning from his lawful wife Louise, born Kolm, 39 years old. To this child at holy baptism performed on this day was given the name Karl. The godparents were Karl Graf and Rosalie Look. This document was read to the illiterate witnesses and signed by us alone. Leopold Fausak, 26 years old, a farmer from Szamocin appeared and in the presence of witnesses Anton Szubrentski(?), 30 years old, a farmer from Szamocin and Karl Graf, a farmer from Nowe Brzeziny(?), 57 years old, presented to us a child of the female sex, stating that she was born in Szamocin on the 4/17th of April of this year to his lawful wife Caroline, born Reinholtz, 21 years old. The child was christened with the name Olga, and has as godparents the first witness and Caroline Graf. This document about the birth of the child was read to the declarents and witnesses and was signed by us alone. Pastor Oscar Ernst"
