    Notes
    • Identified as Daniel Fausak on the birth record of his son Johann in 1823 in the Zakroczym Roman Catholic church records (LDS 689,444, no. 6, p. 3L). He signed this record in a clear hand as Daniel Fauzack.

Identified at the age of 35 on the death registration of his father Johann Michael Fausak in 1827. He is also shown in the 1827 Zakroczym registry as first reporting witness of the death of Daniel Ikiert (perhaps Reichert?).

Martin (Marcin) Daniel is shown on the marriage record of his son Jan Fausak to Anna Ziginger (or Zeigner?) in 1849. That record also shows another Jan (Johann) Fausak as "father's brother", age 43 (b 1806); therefore Martin Daniel had a brother named Johann. Martin is listed as a farmer in Galachy, a village on the north bank of the Wisla River south of Modlin.

He is identified in most records from his lifetime as Daniel Fausak (probably following the German custom of the time of using the second given name in everyday usage and ignoring the first name).

His death is recorded in the Zakroczym Roman Catholic church registry. Witnesses were shown as Frydrych Sikingier (Zeigner?) and Jan Zelus?. That record shows his age as 66 and is believed to be in error (it should be 36); he is shown as a widower (his wife died the year before), and as having children Johann and Rosa.
