Johann Fausak, 40 years old, a farmer from Kolonia Modlinska, appeared and in the presence of Gottlieb Braun , kantor, 29 years old, and Adolf Goeppert, a church worker, 66 years old, presented to us a child of the male sex stating that he was born in Kolonia Modlin on the 24 of September/6th of October at 2:00 in the morning from his lawful wife Wilhelmine born Rinau. To this child at holy baptism performed on this day was given the name Edward. The godparents were Paul Rinau and Amalie Lentz. This document was read aloud to the illiterate declarant and signed by us and all witnesses. Pastor L. Behrens(?)." |

Paul Schlack, 41 years old and also Heinrich Lentz, 38 years old, both laborers from Kolonia Modlinska appeared and announced to us that yesterday in Kolonia Modlinska at 11:00 in the evening, died Edward Fausak, age 2 years and 1.5 months, born in the same place, son of Johann Fausak, laborer residing in Kolonia Modlinska and his wife Wilhelmine, born Rinau. After eyewitness testimony of Edward Fausak's death, this document was read to all witnesses and because of their inability to read or write, signed by us alone. L. Behrens" |
